Ego Editora presents new book about the Apparitions and the Fátima Walking Routes
On May 13, 1917, a Lady brighter than the sun appeared to three children who were herding their parents’ cattle in the remote place of Cova da Iria. The Lady would return in the following months, leading thousands of people to flock to that sacred place in search of her blessings. Soon, a small chapel was born there, which gave rise to what we know today as the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the largest in the Catholic Church in the world, and which receives millions of pilgrims every year.
This book, divided into two parts, tells the story of these three little shepherds, chosen by Our Lady to transmit Her Message, and presents the most beautiful and safest paths for the pilgrimage on foot to the Shrine, according to studies by the Centro Nacional de Cultura and the Associação dos Caminhos de Fátima.
