Fatima Walking Routes represented at two important international events

The Centro Nacional de Cultura will promote the Fatima Walking Routes at the IWRT – International Workshop on Religious Tourism, in Fatima, and at the BTL – Lisbon Tourism Exchange.

At the invitation of ACISO, the Centro Nacional de Cultura (CNC) will be present at the IWRT – International Workshop on Religious Tourism, to promote the Caminhos de Fátima project. The event will take place on March 6 and 7 at the Paulo VI Pastoral Center in Fátima. National tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers and other entrepreneurs in the tourism sector who are particularly involved in religious tourism are invited to take part.

The rest of the program includes the Interfaith Conference “Religious Tourism as a Path to Peace and Human Fraternity”, with the participation of representatives from six major religions, including the Rector of the Shrine of Fatima. The event is free of charge and open to the general public, subject to prior registration at https://www.iwrt.pt.

The following week, at the invitation of Ourém City Council, the CNC will be present at the BTL – Lisbon Tourism Exchange, as part of the Religious Tourism stand with a counter dedicated to promoting the Paths of Fatima. It is also invited by the Regional Tourism Authority of the Lisbon Region to take part in the program planned by this institution for these days.
