II Meeting of the Fátima Walking Routes Partners

On 17 September, the II Meeting of the Fátima Walking Routes Partners took place in Mealhada.

During the meeting, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Centro Nacional de Cultura, Turismo de Portugal, the Associação Caminhos de Fátima and the various Regional Tourism Entities, with the aim of strengthening the work that has been carried out in the management and development of the Fátima Walking Routes.

This strategic partnership will enhance this network of routes, contributing to its overall coherence and quality, its implementation throughout Portugal and its international promotion.

The 2027 Activity Plan was presented to the various municipalities attending the meeting, which play a fundamental role in the maintenance, preservation and promotion of the Fátima Walking Routes within their territories.

The meeting concluded with a walk along one of the sections shared by the Northern-Central Route and the Centenary Route.
