Centro Nacional de Cultura presents Fatima Walking Routes in Médio Tejo

The Médio Tejo Route, developed by the CIMT – Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo (Intermunicipal Community of the Médio Tejo) and certified by the CNC – Centro Nacional de Cultura (National Culture Center) which owns the Caminhos de Fátima and the respective brand, is a new Fatima Walking Route, made up of three itineraries to the Sanctuary of Fatima: the Tomar Route, the Sertã Route and the Abrantes Route.

In the Centre of Portugal, a territory so rich in biodiversity and culturally so valuable, the Fatima Walking Routes are organized into three paths or routes that correspond to three cultural itineraries in different geographical areas. Each of the routes leads to the discovery and enjoyment of a multifaceted cultural and environmental heritage, offering pilgrims and hikers unique experiences in harmony with nature and with welcoming people.

Following the requalification of the routes and respective signage in the territory of the Médio Tejo Route, which is the responsibility of the Médio Tejo CIM, the Centro Nacional de Cultura now makes all the information available on the website caminhosdefatima.org, as well as on the APP Caminhos de Fátima®.

Come and walk a new Route in the Center of Portugal!
